The stuff closest to home is often the best. My all-time favorite remains the Sicilian slice at VI Pizza in Bayside, Queens. When I was a teen my friend Anna sprinkled salt on hers, saying "It makes it so sharp & tasty!" I have not had an unsalted slice in over 40 years. Thanks for this stellar piece! ✌🏼❤️🍕
