oh I loved reading this, Sue. "who do you think you are?" a telling statement for sure. but also a great question to ask ourselves often. and do as you say to do, stretch and reach for the person you want or strive to be. ever curious is my motto!

Touche! The best thought for me and my friends at this elder age is the realization I'm actually listening to people who are long gone and don't exist, not that they don't try. I have plenty of skills to keep on the trek. Good for you. I am so glad to hear of your many successes and efforts to be who you are, not what anybody told you to be. Enjoy yourself. Thank you. And sometimes I still hear those voices. The ghosts stand next to me and continue their nagging. I just tell them to go back to Hell where they came from. (Sometimes, I'm just not a very nice person.)
