today is not the future neither the chicken not the egg were first avoid shticks keep an eye on the weather laughing is the medicine of choice listen to trees resist the urge to push strings science is not a zero sum game remaining silent is often the loudest reply beware of phony holy the past is highly unreliable even kings have nightmares the road is long and the end is near make your own toast.

loved this poem, Ned. I also responded to "remaining silent is often the loudest reply", normally so very true. until I thought of voting in this election (sorry, its on my mind these days) - specifically the people saying they are not voting this year. their silence may result in a very loud and devastating reply. that terrifies me
